Boston

7/20 – 7/22/17

We did a quick 3-day weekend trip to Boston to see a game at Fenway Park.  We flew on Southwest and left on Friday morning.  We checked in to the Hyatt Regency in downtown Boston and then started walking to Fenway.  It was a 2 mile walk.  We walked through Boston Common and the Boston Public Park on the way.  We got to Fenway before the gates opened and walked in the shops and took in the atmosphere of Yawkey Way.  When the gates opened, we went in and looked around the stadium and took some pictures.  The park was so historic with lots of cool features.

The next day, we walked the Freedom Trail.  Boston is such a great city with so many historic sites along the Freedom Trail.  Natalie knew more about the history than the rest of us because of her History class in school.  That night, we had dinner and chocolate fondue at Max Brenner.

On Sunday, before we flew home, we swam at the hotel and then toured Harvard.
