Our pre-Thankgiving trip was to Disney World. On the way of town, we saw the Texas Rangers manager, Ron Washington. He was on our plane. In Orlando, we were staying at the Waldorf Astoria, in Lake Buena Vista, on points. The hotel was amazing. Probably one of the best I have ever stayed at. I was able to get them to through in breakfast too, and it was equally amazing. They did offer transportation to/from Disney World. It was OK, but not as good as the resorts on property. A couple of times took a cab back to the hotel so we wouldn’t have to wait.
We had several friends at Disney during the same time, the Flanagans, Moores, McClures and Wilhites. We hung out with them on and off during the trip. The parks were great and we stayed out late each night. It wasn’t too crowded. We found a way to “hack” the fast passes by using old hotel keys, so we had lots of fast passes. One of the new things we did was get Trey a haircut on Main Street.
